About Our Coaches
Coach Jarret
The Phoenix Youth Track Club was founded by Head Coach, Jarret Eaton in 2022. Coach Eaton, a Philadelphia area native, Syracuse University alum and retired decorated professional athlete started the program to fill developmental training gaps in youth athletes across all sports. Currently the club supports 5 sports across the entire Phoenix metropolitan area. Certifications: USATF Coach level 1, NFHS S&C, AIC, First Aid Health and Safety.
Coach Brittney
Brittney Howell is a Philadelphia native and Penn State Alumni. Coach Brittney is currently a professional athlete training with the Phoenix Track Club Elite team. Certifications: USATF Coach level 1, NFHS S&C, AIC, First Aid Health and Safety.
Coach Max
Maximilian Hairston is a professional 110m Hurdler from Philadelphia. He went to college at Cornell University where he studied animal science and also became 9x Ivy League champion, school and ivy league record holder, and was a 2x NCAA division I All American. Certifications: USATF Coach level 1, NFHS S&C, AIC, First Aid Health and Safety.
Coach Dave
David King is a 2020 Olympic semi-finalist and 2022 World indoor finalist and World Outdoor semi finalist from Plymouth, England. Competing in the 110m hurdles, David is a six-time British champion. Certifications: USATF Coach level 1, NFHS S&C, AIC, First Aid Health and Safety.
Coach Freddie
Freddie Crittenden III is a St. Louis, Missouri native who graduated from Syracuse University, Majoring in Public Health. Freddie is currently a well decorated professional athlete competing for Team USA. Certifications: USATF Coach level 1, NFHS S&C, AIC, First Aid Health and Safety.
Our Mission and Values
The Phoenix Track Club Phoenix Track Club is dedicated to coaching student athletes through training, mentorship and educational workshops to develop well rounded student athletes. We are professional athletes in the sport of track and field and are excited to developing well rounded student athletes in the city of Phoenix and surrounding areas. Our guiding principles are to teach our athletes how to;
1. Instill confidence in themselves through hard work, dedication and persistence.
2. learn and overcome adversity.
3. Take responsibility for their actions.
4. Stay committed to themselves and the team.
5. Have a greater understanding of their sport.
We believe these values will help our athletes be successful in their journey of competing in their sport and beyond.
Practice Information
April - M/Th- 6pm -7pm Su - 11am -12pm
May - M/Th - 6pm -7pm Su - 11am -12pm
June - M/Th - 6pm -7pm Su - 11am -12pm
Practice will take place at Brophy college prep.
What to Bring to Practice
Athletes should bring the following to practice:
1. Water bottle
2. Running and/or lifting shoes
3. Small Towel
4. A protein snack or drink
Team Information
Dress Code
All athletes must wear weight room appropriate attire during lifting. We will be doing various movements and want to avoid wardrobe malfunctions and clothes that limit range of motion in any way.
Rules and Guidelines
We want to create a safe and positive environment for all student athletes in our program. We are asking for everyone to follow these guidelines and if they are unable to, they will no longer be able to participate in the program.
Listen out for and follow coaches direction while in the weight room
No horseplay while in the weight room
Respect others
Give space and stand free of athletes using equipment
Communicate any injuries that may occur no matter how big or small.
