About PYTC

Phoenix Youth Track Club (PYTC) was founded in 2022 by Head Coach Jarret Eaton with the goal of helping more kids get to college through track and field. Our club helps develop athletes though strong relationships, meaningful goals and high standards. We are dedicated to serving athletes in the Phoenix, Scottsdale and the surrounding communities, from ages 9 to 18.

Practice Information 

Season Dates: November 3rd to January 31st

Practice Time: 3:30 PM - 5:15PM

Practice Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, with occasional Saturday morning practices (advance notice will be provided at the start of each week)

Location: Brophy Sports Complex (4800 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85012)

Events: 100-3200m, Hurdles, Jumps + Pole Vault

Club Costs 

Non-Competition Package:

  • $275 for the first child

  • $135 for the second sibling

  • $0 for every additional sibling

Competition Package:

  • $525 for the first child

  • $250 for the second sibling

  • $0 for every additional sibling

Athlete in Need Grants: 

AIN (Athlete in Need) grants are available to assist athletes who require financial support. These grants will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, considering individual needs and available resources. Recipients of AIN grants, along with their parents, are expected to actively participate in all team fundraising activities.

*All payments will be made via invoices sent directly from the Phoenix Youth Track Club on November 16th or after your athletes first week in our program.

What to Bring to Practice 

Athletes should bring the following to practice: 

1. Water bottle 

2. Running and spikes

3. Small Towel

4. A protein snack or drink

Rules and Guidelines 

We are dedicated to providing a secure and positive environment for all student athletes within our program. To ensure this, we kindly request everyone's adherence to these guidelines. Failure to do so may result in the inability to continue participating in the program:

  1. Listen attentively to and follow the directions provided by coaches while on the track or in the weight room.

  2. No rough or playful behavior while on the track or inside the weight room.

  3. Always show respect to your coaches and fellow athletes.

  4. Give ample space and stand clear of athletes running on the track or using sporting equipment.

Dress Code

Practice

Please ensure that your child(ren) wear appropriate workout attire during all practices. It's important that they have clothing suitable for movement, temperature , and wear running shoes designed for running and their event.

Competitions

For all meets, athletes may wear our team jersey or bank competition wear. No other club jerseys allowed.
